WHAT
IS The Shop, South Dade?
The shop is a
1,200 sq.ft. commercial warehouse space, rented by Merritt Burrus,
KI4GQO and John Vecchio, KF4ACN. The shop is set up with an
"office", containing 2 8' work benches and all our test gear for
working on ham radio projects (mostly repeaters), as well as other
electronic gadgets.
Outside the office, we have storage space for radio and other parts, as
well as a small metal working area, complete with 2 welders and a large
air compressor. We spend most of our weekends there, working on
personal, or radio projects, as time allows.
This is a place where you will find (hopefully) the chronicles of the
